Engr. Charles Watiminyo James

Brief Profile

Engr. Charles Watiminyo James is one of the creators of KUMU. He holds a Bachelor degree in Marine Engineering and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Thermo-Fluid Option) from the Rivers State University, Nigeria. He has over 23 years experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas Industry cutting across several activities in operational & process safety, HSE in projects, and construction & revamping of surface production facilities.

He is currently a serving Manager in an International oil and gas major operating in Nigeria. Engr. Charles has to his credit a couple of copyright and patent issued by the Nigerian Copyright Commission. He is also a Director of Firmament Associates Limited; the company housing the KUMU (The Integrated Drug Management System) App.

Engr. Charles is passionate about the sustainable development of rural communities and is engaged in several social works in several rural communities of the Niger Delta. He contributes and promotes the holistic development of individuals through entrepreneurship trainings, cooperatives and educational events. He is currently involved in cultural activities targeted at promoting the sustenance of indigenous languages using information technology.

Pharm Oladigbolu Adewale Aderemi FPSN

Brief Profile

Pharm Oladigbolu Adewale Aderemi is an outstanding alumni of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria where be bagged a B. Pharm degree in 1990. In his over thirty three years of post graduation professional experience Pharm Adewale has demonstrated outstanding and innovative leadership as a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. As a Fellow of the PSN he has served in various capacities including that of being the Chairman of the Rivers State branch. Pharm Adewale is the current National Chairman, Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria. In this position he represents the interest of all Community Pharmacists in Nigeria on the board of two international pharmacist organisations. These include the Community Pharmacy section of the International Pharmacy Federation (FIP), Netherlands and the Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association (CPA).

Pharm Adewale also works with domestic regulatory authorities such as NAFDAC and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria to promote good pharmacy practice. And in partnership with the National Primary Health Care development agencies he promotes the sustained contribution of Pharmacist to Universal Health Coverage by improving access to routine immunization and vaccination. In promoting the welfare of community pharmacists he seeks to also guarantee the health of the Nigeria people by initiating, reviewing, and promoting the formulation of health policies by the Federal Ministry of Health. Pharm Adewale is passionate about the improvement of the professional standards of pharmacy to sustain the delivery of high quality of service. He advocates for the continuous education of Pharmacists through the co-ordination of their research interests, provision and the exchange of information that assists in the coordination and improvement of community pharmacists' scientific, technical, and professional activities. Pharm Adewale advocates for the realization of the social aims of the profession through strategic partnerships with stakeholders in Nigeria’s pharmaceutical industry. Under his leadership, the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria has entered into a partnership with Firmament Associates Limited to promote the adoption of KUMU as a tool for the delivery of healthcare services.

Pharm. Ajibade Abiodun, Abdulah FPSN

Brief Profile

Pharm. Ajibade Abiodun is an accomplished entrepreneur, a social change agent, astute administrator, an innovative leader and mentor. He is passionate about developing the business and managerial skills in individuals to enable them contribute to the socioeconomic development of the nation. As an advocate for a better ways to do things, he promotes the engagement of Information technology in business processes and pharmacy practice in Nigeria. He has does these through the training of 500 youths from Ogun West Senatorial District; the creation of an Online Community for Pharmacists known as Pharmacists; Affairs platform with over 4000 pharmacists; a virtual training platform known as Pharmacists Affairs Group Entrepreneurial College (PAGEC) and a talent hunt known as Pharmacists’ Affairs Group Innovation Award (PAGIA) to spur innovation among pharmacists. He is the creator of “KAPSUUL” a digital solution which provides pharmacists a fully professional social media platform. He was also the core part of the partnership with ACPN National that provided the Community Pharmacists a business solution known as P2P for virtual ordering of pharmaceutical products from across the various pharmaceutical supply chains in Nigeria.
He holds a Bachelors of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and postgraduate Diploma in Drug Discovery (PDDD) of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) of the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. Chartered Project Management Professional (CPMP) For his contribution to the development of society through his pharmacy practice and social change activities he has received Award of Excellence from the Rotary Club and the Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students (PANS).

Pharm Ajibade is a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and has had the privilege of occupying several positions under the Society as General Secretary Publicity Secretary Assistant General Secretary and State Chairman, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch. He was also a member of its National Council. Other positions held by Pharm Ajibade include Vice-Chairman, Pharmaceutical Inspection Committee (P.I.C) Oyo State of Pharmacy Council of Nigeria Member, Pharmaceutical Industry Information Technology Platform (PHARMIT) Committee and Member, Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) Oyo State Chapter. He comes to the advisory board of Kumu with outstanding experiences in digital product research, development and marketing.
